This is called the Mermaid Pose. Obviously there is room for improvement since I just learned how to do this pose, but that’s my current version of it. I think I got the gist of it, but below is what it should look like:

What is it good for? Your back. The mermaid pose is a type of back-bend. Back-bends are used to stretch and strengthen your spine, while also opening up your chest and stretching your abdomen. Good stuff, no?
