  1. However, you have to drink A LOT of cranberry juice for it to acidify the urinary tract to prevent foreign bacteria growth. If you were to try cranberry, I as a pharmacist in training would recommend cranberry found in capsules and such, you get much more cranberry for the bang without having to swig it all day.
